Defining a Curriculum

In the last topic we identified how Pennsylvania Curriculum Framework is structured and how it defines big ideas, essential questions, concepts, and competencies that are essential for students' academic achievement. In this section we will investigate how to use the SAS Portal to define a curriculum framework for your subject area, discuss why Pennsylvania's curriculum framework is voluntary, and examine how the SAS ELL Overlay can be used to support English Language Learners in your classroom.
