Another use for RSS feeds is to create resource pages. If you want to provide a collection of online resources for your students, you could spend a lot of time searching for and updating your list. With RSS, you can let the feed do the searching and updating automatically.
You can share links with your students through both resource pages and through social bookmarking.
- Resource pages can include many resources quickly because they collect feeds. However, you don't have control over each item listed.
- Social bookmarking networks let you have more control because you add each item to your list separately. However, they are more time consuming to create.
