Assignment Objective:

Written Response - 20 points Rubric (15 points required for passing grade)

  1. Using the formative assessment you created in Activity B-3, administer the formative assessment to your students.
  2. Facilitate conferences with your students in order to provide them with individual feedback on regarding their achievement on the formative assessment.
  3. In a two page reflection, discuss how this process aided you in your instructional planning.
  4. Comment about how the formative assessment and collaborative feedback provided your students with a clear vision of their strengths and areas of development.

In a two page reflection, respond to the following:

  1. How do formative assessments provide students with on-going feedback that reflects their achievement? Provide examples to support your ideas.
  2. Evaluate how facilitating individual student conferences can promote student growth. Provide specific examples to support your ideas.
  3. Predict how formative assessments and collaborative feedback can provide students with a clear vision of their strengths and areas of development.
