Applying the Model

1. Refer to a lesson that you are currently teaching or have previously taught.

2. Modify the lesson addressing the following steps:

   Step 1: Determine the standards-based K-U-Do: Step 2: Briefly describe the pre-assessment you will do: Step 3: Modify your lesson in EITHER content OR process OR products. You only need to differentiate one area of the lesson, not all three. Step 4: What did you take into consideration regarding students’ readiness, interest, or learning profiles? Explain how you decided to modify. Cite 2 or 3 references from the reading that you used to make your decision.

3. Post your assignment to Forums 3-D-1: Applying the Model for your classmates to read. Your instructor will grade this activity as an "assignment."
