Engaging All Learners: Learning Styles

File cabinetOrganizational & Perceptual Styles

Organizational and Perceptual styles represent the way you perceive the world around you and how that information is organized. People's organizational and perceptual styles fall along a continuum. The organizational style of some facilitators and participants is highly global while for others it is highly sequential. Most people fall somewhere in between the two extremes. Some of us are more global than sequential, but still able to function in a sequential environment, and others of us are more sequential, but still demonstrate some global traits. Remember that your learners will fall somewhere along the continuum for each of these styles.
