Overview
Participants learning in an online environment may be limited to the computer and the collaboration available through that tool, but they still have individual learning styles that will impact their behavior in an online class. The way participants prefer to absorb information, organize that information, and demonstrate new knowledge reflects on learning preferences.
In this module we will be looking at Sensory Preferences, Organizational and Perceptual Styles, and Multiple Intelligences. There are many other learning styles that influence participant learning which are not mentioned here. Our goal is to provide a brief overview on three critical areas that influence online learners.
Topic 6-A: Sensory Styles
Topic 6-B: Organizational & Perceptual Styles
Topic 6-C: Multiple Intelligences & Differentiating Instruction
