Supporting Statements

For most of us, the verbal skills (positive phrasing, supporting statements, empathy statements, approval statements) introduced in this course do not come naturally and therefore require practice. Forums, blogs, and messages all provide unique opportunities to practice verbal skills because the asynchronous environment allows time to carefully craft responses to participant comments.
