Applying the Frayer Model

Assignment Instructions:

1. Revisit the NCTM standards and find a concept that you want to explore.
2. Write the concept you selected in the middle of the Frayer model worksheet (click anywhere in the ellipse or in each rectangle and type your text or insert a drawing). 
3. Fill out the rest of the Frayer model—try to do this based on your own prior knowledge, without looking at any resources for assistance. 
   
4. Using the section provided in the worksheet explain how would you present lesson using an activity that uses the Frayer model. Briefly describe how you would apply this in your own classroom.
   
5. Post your Frayer model in the Forums under "1-C-2: Applying the Frayer Model." In the same document, justify why you filled out each category. Explain how you could use this as a model with students.
6. Review the Frayer models posted by your classmates. Post at least one comment on one of the models.
