Open the "geometry standard" link to view the NCTM Standards.

Assignment Instructions:

Answer the following questions in a word or text document and post to "Assignments" in Sakai.

1. Consider the standards for grades K-2 and grades 3-5. Do many or most of your students currently meet these standards?
2. Take a moment to consider the curriculum you are currently teaching. Does this curriculum align to all of the standards? Are these standards comparable to your state or district standards? Which standards pertain to content you need to or would like to review?
3. Review the Standards for grades 6-8. List at least 1 or 2 topics that pose a challenge for your students.
