Meeting Specific Needs: Gifted Students

As with the subgroups of ELL and LD students, gifted students’ needs may be met by applying the principles, practices, and strategies of differentiated instruction. In fact, many DI teachers have their roots in gifted education. In this part of the course you will explore some of the myths associated with gifted students and learn specific ways to meet their needs.
