- Read "The Story of Multiple Personalities" in pp. 37-39 of Teaching Discipline and Self Respect.
- After completing the reading, answer the following questions on your own:
- What did the successful teacher do that the unsuccessful teacher did not?
- Consider the phrase "Catch them doing something right." How does this apply to creating a positive learning environment for students?
- In the Forum, post a quick response to the following: Think of your own students. Was there some positive behavior they exhibited recently? Share this behavior. Did you respond positively to it? If so what did you do? If you did not, what would you do next time?
- Comment on at least one classmate's post.
