Evaluate and Implement SAS

Regardless of what grade level or content area you teach, you are preparing students for lifelong learning. In this topic you will evaluate the Standards Aligned System, and identify how you will implement it in your classroom. You will also explain how you can use SAS as a basis for developing students' critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, and creativity skills that they will need for continued educational success, as well as success in their career and personal lives.

At the completion of this module, you will be able to:

• Evaluate the Standards Aligned System and propose how you could use it to bridge the gap between what many current graduating seniors know, and the qualities that higher educational institutions and employers look for in candidates.
