The Ultimate Goal of Teaching

In the last topic you examined your contribution to preparing students for lifelong learning and described how you plan to use SAS to achieve this goal. In this topic you will refine this goal by collaborating with your peers and defining your teaching goals. Using SAS as a base, you will then develop an action plan that includes a well-defined goal statement to clearly describe how you will inspire your students to be successful.

At the completion of this module, you will be able to:

• Summarize what you have learned about the Standards Aligned System and develop a plan to ensure that students are prepared for their futures.
