Assignment Objective:
- Evaluate the Standards Aligned System and propose how you could use it to bridge the gap between what many current graduating seniors know, and the qualities that higher educational institutions and employers look for in candidates.

In the Forum, evaluate the Standards Aligned System, and describe how you could use it to help your students become academically successful, use their creative thinking skills, and develop into lifelong learners.
- Discuss what you feel are the advantages of SAS and any difficulties that you may have in implementing SAS in your classroom.
- Write six paragraphs (one per element) addressing how you feel each of the six elements of SAS (Clear Standards, Fair Assessments, Curriculum Framework, Instruction, Materials and Resources, and Interventions) support student success.
- Describe how you plan to use each of the six elements in your classroom.
- Explain how you will encourage other teachers to use SAS and collaborate with you in aligning instruction to create cross-curricular learning.
- Review your classmates' posts and reply to at least two of them with detailed feedback and a summary of their key points.
