Today is the beginning of your life as a reading teacher as well as the content selector for your curricular subject area. What specific materials could you put in your classroom library that would enhance the lesson/unit you have been planning throughout this course? List SPECIFIC titles of pamphlets, graphic novels, CDs, DVDs books, magazines, and web sites. Think about the various learners in your classroom as you make your wish list.

How do these materials support diverse learners in your classroom? Include who the strategy is aimed at (ELL/ESL, minimal reading ability or other special population), the Multiple Intelligences that it supports, and the Intelligent Behaviors that you are asking the students to exhibit.
