- Explain the critical connection that phonological awareness has to reading
- Develop a lesson plan to teach phonological awareness using rhyming, syllable segmentation, onset & rime and other strategies
- Describe how to assess a student’s phonological awareness
- Design a plan to teach phonemic awareness to all types of learners
