  1. “I can’t” is one of the most commonly used unself-responsible phrases. There are several simple, short Teacher Talk phrases you can use that are “antidotes” for “I can’t.”

  2. Read “PP Strategy Ten: ‘I Can’t’ Antidote” in Key Information. Review the Key Information "Perspective on I Can't."

  3. Read “Act as if” on page 70 in the book Teacher Talk.

  4. Comment on ONE of the following:
