In your small group forum, decide upon a content area that you will focus on for this activity.

Then in your small group, discuss and create a set of guidelines for teaching vocabulary in that content area. It should include:

• guidelines for choosing vocabulary words
• how to teach those vocabulary words

As a resource for a new teacher, also include at least one additional strategy per person in the group (not listed in this course) about vocabulary in the content area chosen.

Elect one member of your group to post a summary of your final plan in your small group forum.
