In this module, you will explore the wealth of materials, other than textbooks, that you can introduce into your content area classroom to enhance student learning.

At the completion of this Module, you will be able to:

• Create a preview guide that analyzes a textbook for specific text structures and other text features.
• Research and discuss which reading practices best apply to their specific content areas including mathematics, science, history, language arts, physical education, vocational education, and world languages.
