Select a text and create a general plan to teach reading comprehension to your students.

1. Based on your readings about comprehension, identify aspects of reading theories that you feel helps enhance comprehension.
2. Support your observations by quoting and citing at least 3 sources.
3. Describe what pre-reading, during-reading, and after-reading activities you would use.
4. Explain how you would measure a student’s comprehension throughout the reading process.
5. Look at your classmates’ posts and comment on one of them.
