- After you have finished the K & W sections of the chart, read the overview of the Pearl Harbor raid from the Naval Historical Center.
- Finish the KWL chart with information you have learned from the Naval Historical site.

- Read the rough draft of FDR’s Day of Infamy speech.
- Use the SEA Method to analyze this document. Note the areas that are scratched out and wording is changed. What impact do the changes in vocabulary have? Record your observations in the SEA worksheet.
