Finding and Using Online Images
For Activity 7-A-1, you'll find and use images to represent your culture. When you search for images online, keep copyright restrictions in mind. Fortunately, there are numerous sources of free images available online. Wikimedia provides a collection of public domain image resources and is a good place to start a search for images. Flickr's Creative Commons collection is a great resource for finding images under these licenses. WorldImages also provides images for noncommercial educational use.
When you find an image online that you would like to use, you can either save it to your computer or use a direct link to the image.
To save an image to your computer, right click on it and select Save Image As (Ctrl + click for Macs with a single button mouse). Enter a file name and choose the location, then click Save.
