Module 1: Creating Effective Classroom Instruction
In this module, you will explore classroom "look-fors" and K-L-D charts. The role the curriculum framework plays in the Standards-Aligned System, commonly referred to as the SAS, will be reviewed. The curriculum framework, Dr. Robert Marzano's Ten Design Questions, and the thirteen effective instructional strategies supporting classroom instruction will be identified as key resources for instructional decision-making. Finally, the Power Teaching Cycle of Effective Instruction will be introduced as an instructional delivery system for structuring the instructional decision-making resources into your instruction.

- Increase student engagement by creating compelling concept presentations and encouraging peer learning through student learning teams.
