Handling Conflict

In this module, you will examine different types of conflict and approaches to responding to conflict. You'll practice recognizing when to intervene and how to do so. This module also includes a final reflection project that allows you to look back on the entire course.

At the completion of this Module, you will be able to:

• Use positive phrasing, needs-benefit statements, supporting statements, and empathy statements in online communication.
• Construct student-centered feedback incorporating approval statements.
• Anticipate and solve typical problems which arise in collaborative small groups.
• Apply verbal skills and other strategies to resolve conflict online.
